Our Philosophy
Whānauatanga-Relationship is at the heart of Glengarry ELC team. We believe relationships lay the foundation for all aspects in what we do.
Manaakitanga- kindness and respect are emphasised through responsibility and reciprocity. We foster strong, respectful relationships with others, with our environment and within ourselves.
Ako- learning is a journey for all. We pride ourselves with continuous learning and improvement.
Kotakitanga- holistic development view learning and development of a child as an integrated and interconnected whole. Our kaiako seek to develop each area of learning in ways which take account of and build upon children’s existing strengths.
